Today, the Lakers finally returned to their home court to face the Nets, who are second-to-last in the league. The Lakers starting lineup was Doncic, Reaves, Laravia, James, and Ayton. The Nets starters were Traore, Powell, Williams, Clowney, and Claxton.

After the opening, the Lakers scored from multiple sources, while Laravia, as usual, committed a turnover by losing the ball. Doncic scored 7 points, James 4 points, and both Reaves and Ayton contributed 2 points, leading the Lakers to a 15-4 advantage entering the first timeout.

Following that, Ayton delivered consecutive blocks and added a dunk, and after the Lakers extended their lead to 19-7, a timeout was called.

James executed a spin move and a layup for a 2+1, but then the Lakers' offense stalled, allowing the Nets to mount a 11-2 run to narrow the gap.

The Lakers' only basket during this stretch came from Rui, who stole the ball and dunked, deserving praise.

With a clutch player like Reaves on the floor, Hayes easily scored on a feed.

Doncic and Kennard both sank three-pointers, and the Nets quickly responded.

At the end of the first quarter, the Lakers led the Nets 35-30. James had 7 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist; Doncic had 14 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist; Reaves had 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists; Ayton had 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 blocks; Rui had 2 points and 1 rebound; Kennard had 3 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist; Hayes had 3 points, 1 rebound, and 1 assist.

In the second quarter, Bronny took the floor again, causing a turnover on a steal that prevented a fast break and saved two points for the Lakers.

Hayes made both free throws, while the Nets scored 4 consecutive points, including a half-court alley-oop dunk, prompting a Lakers timeout.

The Lakers failed on multiple offensive attempts, and the Nets scored 5 straight points to take the lead. James broke the scoring drought with a layup and assisted Bronny on a three-pointer—a father-son connection!

Soon after, Redick substituted Bronny out, and Doncic and Reaves began scoring.

The Lakers regained the lead at 52-46, entering a timeout. The pace of the game slowed somewhat. Rui's dunk energized the team.

Unfortunately, Doncic lost control of the dribble, and the Nets hit a half-court buzzer-beating three-pointer.

The Lakers ended the half with a 61-59 lead. James had 11 points, 1 rebound, and 3 assists; Doncic had 24 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 2 steals; Reaves had 4 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists; Ayton had 5 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks; Rui had 6 points; Hayes had 5 points; Kennard had 3 points and 2 rebounds; Bronny had 3 points.

At the start of the third quarter, the Nets committed a basic mistake—a backcourt violation.

Reaves made two free throws, the opponent hit a three-pointer, and Doncic's floater, seeking contact, was effortless.

Doncic was called for a three-point shooting foul; he signaled for a challenge, Redick listened, and the challenge succeeded, resulting in a center-court jump ball.

The Nets secured the ball and scored two points. Ayton made both free throws, while Laravia, unclear about his actions, also fouled.

Both sides relied on free throws for scoring until Doncic's floater finally provided a field goal.

The viewing experience was quite mediocre; the Nets lost the ball and quickly called a timeout.

The opponent scored 4 consecutive points to take the lead. Doncic had a minor altercation with an opposing player, and both received technical fouls. Consequently, Doncic accumulated 16 technical fouls, triggering an automatic one-game suspension.

Kennard felt fouled, complained, and also received a technical foul.

The third quarter lasted quite long, with many technical fouls and free throws. The Lakers entered the final quarter with a 85-84 lead. Kennard scored the first point of the fourth quarter.

James assisted Hayes on a dunk.

Nets player Minott dunked for a 2+1, landing hard on his back. The Nets quickly called a timeout; he was fine and continued playing.

Reaves committed a turnover leading to an opponent's dunk, but then he hit two consecutive three-pointers to redeem himself.

LeBron and Reaves were fouled successively, making 3 out of 4 free throws. Vando dunked and was hit on the hand, but no foul was called.

The Nets made both free throws, Doncic scored on a jump shot, and Reaves hit a trailing three-pointer, forcing a timeout for the opponent.

At this point, the Lakers had 4 timeouts remaining, while the Nets had none, likely wanting to end the game sooner. Rui made both free throws, and James scored a difficult shot, extending the lead to double digits.

After the timeout, the Nets stalled. The Lakers scored 3 points via free throws, and the opponent finally scored. The Lakers controlled the tempo, aiming to consume the full 24 seconds on each possession. Doncic drew an offensive foul on the opponent and then sank a three-pointer.

Reaves also added a three-pointer.

The final score was Lakers 116-99 Nets. James had 14 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists, and 1 steal; Doncic had 41 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals; Reaves had 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assists; Ayton had 9 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks; Rui had 8 points and 3 rebounds; Kennard had 5 points and 4 rebounds; Hayes had 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 blocks; Bronny had 3 points; Vanderbilt had 2 rebounds; Laravia had 2 rebounds.
