Beijing time March 30, the Trail Blazers defeated the Wizards 123-88. Yang Hansen got playing time in the final quarter, contributing 6 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 block. He also received his first technical foul in his NBA career. Here is his post-game interview—

Reporter: Coming back from so many G League games, how far do you feel you've developed through these games, and what was your mindset knowing you'd get playing time upon returning?
Yang Hansen: In the G League, I trained my physical conditioning and some on-court skills. After returning, I focus on playing well, keeping a calm mindset, playing my own game as usual, and happily going out to execute offense and defense properly.
Reporter: Almost a season has passed unnoticed. Comparing to the initial feeling of being very new and unfamiliar, does your pre-game mindset or feeling now feel better than when you first arrived?
Yang Hansen: After being here for a year now, I've become very accustomed to life, the fans at games, and all aspects.
Reporter: Right after the game, the coach said your movement on the court today was good, and you were active protecting rebounds. During your time training in the G League, have there been any changes in your physique? Have you lost some weight?
Yang Hansen: I'm heavier than last year, should say I weigh more than last year.

Reporter: How about your feeling on the court? I saw one sequence where you desperately ran back on defense.
Yang Hansen: No, I saw the guard leading the charge, so I thought no one was covering the defense, otherwise they would have an open layup.
Reporter: Let's talk about your teammate Kent. He also came here from the G League with you. What impression do you have of him on and off the court?
Yang Hansen: JK (Kent) is a very hardworking player, and off the court he's a lively person. We communicated a lot in the G League, stayed together from start to finish, and have known each other for quite a while. Sometimes late at night you can still see him practicing alone on the court. He's diligent, basically going every day.
Reporter: Next, you might go with the team to Los Angeles for a very important seeding game, or possibly return to the G League for playoff games. Both games are important. What expectations or prepared mindset do you have?
Yang Hansen: Play well, do my job. Both games are important, so I'm already prepared.
Reporter: Today's game saw your first technical foul in your NBA career. This means a fine, do you know that?
Yang Hansen: I know.
Reporter: Do you know how much the fine is?
Yang Hansen: I know, two thousand.
Reporter: Can you recount what happened on the court at that moment?
Yang Hansen: We were both jostling for the rebound in a friendly manner, maybe got tangled up. He put his hand under my arm, holding me while backing up. I relaxed, kept my hands clearly positioned, didn't move anything. Finally, the ball landed, and I just smiled at him there, then went up and greeted him friendly.
Reporter: There have been similar conflicts before, and you mostly just smile, staying relatively calm. Is this your attitude when facing such situations?
Yang Hansen: Not exactly, mainly because I didn't lose out earlier... If the referee gives it, then it's given. Next time I'll pay attention and not do it again.
