Coach Tran Tien Dai is proud despite PVF-CAND being eliminated from the National Cup.

The Vietnamese strategist affirmed that his students played to their fullest ability against Ninh Binh, so there is nothing to regret.

On the evening of March 21, PVF-CAND played a courageous match against Ninh Binh in the quarter-finals of the 2025/26 National Cup, though they could not create a surprise. After a breathless chase, the team from Hien Street suffered a 2-3 defeat against the strong opponent, thereby officially leaving the competition.

Speaking at the post-match press conference, Coach Tran Tien Dai admitted: "Regarding today's match result, I acknowledge it and extend congratulations to the opposing team. Ninh Binh has a very high-quality squad, all national team players."

Nevertheless, the Vietnamese strategist still expressed pride in his students' performance: "On our part, today we played to our utmost ability, there is nothing to be sad about. The whole team played very well today. Against a strong opponent, we also played with extreme focus and gave our all. My players completed their assigned tasks excellently."

When asked whether the team would achieve the goal of staying in V-League, Coach Tran Tien Dai affirmed: "Certainly that will happen. Of course, in football, the element of luck is necessary. From this moment, we will strive to focus on each match, accumulate every point to achieve the relegation survival goal. The whole team is ready; we just need a bit more luck."
