Following a hard-fought win against Da Nang, Quang Hai acknowledged CAHN encountered numerous challenges, and cautioned that the V.League title race is still intense despite his team's top position.
After Hanoi Police's narrow victory over SHB Da Nang, midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai admitted this match was tougher than expected, while offering a cautious assessment of the championship race. V.League 2025/26.
Sharing after the match, Quang Hai stated that Chi Lang Stadium has always been a challenging venue for any team. “Playing here has never been easy, especially in the very passionate football atmosphere of Da Nang fans. We anticipated the difficulties, and the match unfolded exactly as expected,” the midfielder born in 1997 said.
Despite facing considerable obstacles against the host team's defensive counter-attacking style, Quang Hai emphasized that the most important thing remains the final result. “The whole team may not have played as expected at certain moments, but the crucial point is that we secured the three points,” he affirmed.
Quang Hai personally also had clear opportunities in the match but could not convert them into goals. However, he was not overly concerned: “With more luck, I might have scored. But for me, the most important thing is still contributing to the team's overall play and victory.”
This victory helps CAHN continue to hold the top spot and create a 7-point gap with the team behind. Nevertheless, Quang Hai remained cautious when talking about the championship race: “A 7-point gap is an advantage, but the season is still long. We will focus on each match individually; complacency is not allowed.”
The midfielder of the police force's team also highlighted the decisive factor in the remaining phase: “Certainly, nothing will be easy. The entire team needs to maintain focus, unity, and determination to pursue the ultimate goal.” With stable performance and competitive composure, Quang Hai is playing a crucial role in CAHN's journey to conquer the V.League championship this season.
