After a flight departing from Hanoi and a connecting flight in Guangzhou, the squad under interim head coach Dinh Hong Vinh landed safely. Immediately at the airport, the team was warmly welcomed by the host nation's organizing committee, receiving prompt assistance to complete procedures and transfer to the hotel.

Due to overnight travel, the entire team prioritized rest to recover physically. According to the plan, U23 Vietnam will conduct their first training session later in the afternoon of the same day to acclimatize to weather conditions and the pitch, while also assessing the squad before entering the tournament.

At CFA Team China 2026, U23 Vietnam will successively face high-quality opponents from the region. Specifically, the team will meet U23 North Korea on March 25, face U23 Thailand on March 28, and conclude the round with a match against host U23 China on March 31.
