Forward Nguyễn Minh Tâm of HAGL scored the only goal for U23 Vietnam in the 1-1 draw against U23 North Korea.

Right after the kick-off whistle, U23 North Korea proactively pushed up their formation, organized pressing, and applied pressure on the field. U23 Vietnam. At club level, Minh Tâm is maintaining stable performance for HAGL, having scored 3 goals in 10 appearances in V-League 2025/2026. With a height of 1.81m and agile movement, he is gradually establishing himself as a key pillar in the attack of the mountain city team, while showing remarkable maturity at age 20.

Entering the second half, U23 Vietnam continued to have chances to increase the lead. Early in the half, Công Phương tried his luck with a long-range shot when the opposing goalkeeper was advanced, but the ball missed the target. U23 North Korea later responded with a dangerous free-kick situation, yet couldn't convert it into a goal.
